I’ve never been shy to mix colors and prints. And it usually shows in my illustrations.
This photo shoot was no exception.
Working with Liss was a real pleasure, especially since all the patterns and brightness didn’t take away from the grungy look I really wanted to perceive. Her vibe was ready to work, when she brought out her personal speaker, and I had no trouble with letting go and snapping away.
Thanks for bringing some spunk to our session Liss!
Hasta la proxima,

It was time to test out my new baby, my Canon 10-18mm lens. I’ve only dipped my toes into this wide angle lens, I didn’t want to waste an opportunity with my gorgeous model for the day, so a lot of these were taken with my handy 50mm portrait lens.
Any who, look how glorious Ashley was looking in her plaid red cape. She reminded me of an urban little red riding hood.

The other day I had the pleasure of photographing fashion blogger Malikah Kelly from malikahkelly.com
We were both in a bit of a rush, but if I didn’t tell you that, I don’t think you would have ever known. I’m digging how these pictures came out, and she was ecstatic about them as well, which made my job much better.

It’s my favorite time of the year, Autumn is approaching. I love the colorful leaves, the nice breeze and all the amount of layers I’ll get to wear. I think we can all agree that leather jackets are a must for fall, however for some reason, I’ve been in the mood to shy away from basic black. I gave myself one do-able, yet kinda difficult resolution this year.
DON’T BUY BLACK!
After working at an old job were I had to wear black from head to toe every shift, I kind got sick of it. I know black is everyone’s classic go to color, but I want to kick it up a notch. I’ve been tempted, kind of obsessed with going ham on my credit card, and just buying leathers in all kind of colors. Look how cute that yellow one is, it’ll go perfect with the new shade of brown I’ve dyed my hair. An auburn I’ve struggling to get just right. This fall I’m ready to get into rustic neutral tones. with just a pop of color.
What are you guys excited for now that the chilly weather is getting here soon?

We all want new things, and as much as I don’t need it, I want it, want it, want it. I’ve been on the hunt for some cute gray sneakers, I never seem to find anything that fits my style. Lately I’ve been in a pink mode, which I never really liked when I was younger. I guess I’m growing up and finally falling into my estrogen lifestyle.
I fell in love with this celestial necklace. I’m such a huge fan of the moon, I’m curious about all it’s ways. I plan on getting a tattoo soon, but I haven’t quite figured out exactly how I want it.
Eh, let’s see what happens. Right now I can say I want all these things, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to break my back for it. I have so much planning to do in the next few days, all these things can wait.

It’s a new month, which means I want new things hahaha.
I’ve been going crazy buying equipment for my camera and the only thing I thing that I need now is this wide lens. The Sony Sel 16mm-20mm f2.8, it’s going to be great for when I want to take better landscape photography.
Ever since I lost my pretty pink bike, see that HERE, I’ve been on the hunt for a new one, but didn’t want to invest in something temporarily. Since my apartment has so much crap in it already, ever since the folding bikes became more popular and more affordable, I think it’s time to finally take the plunge. This foldable Shwinn would be perfect!!! Ugh. I need it now.
My wardrobe for work is all black, all the time, and as much as I love it, I start to hate it too. My go to colors have been brown and grey, and yes.. I even wear them together. Who cares? Somehow, I always find a way to make things work. Plus, blending these neutral colors make my days off, mornings getting ready a breeze.
And yes, I’m aware I forgot to add lucky number 7.

It’s the first of the month, you know what that means…it’s time for my monthly Desirables!
Ugh, I wish I was rich. there’s so much I want. But let’s get started.
Every since I got my new baby , Sony a6000 (I name her Cher), I’ve been trying to stock up on accessories. Belle, my Canon Rebel t31 is great to shoot with, but she’s so damn bulky and a hassle to take everywhere with me. Cher is perfect. She shoots great, even though I have to teach myself how to shoot better in low light situations. Right now I’m stuck with my stock lens and even though I manage, I know I can do better. Talking about doing better, I need to get my ass into being productive, creative wise.
It’s been some time now since I ‘ve picked up a paintbrush, a camera, anything…alright..at least I’ve picked up a stylus and have been trying to draw digitally. This girl is rocking a bright yellow scarf, and that’s all I’m going to say about that…
Back to business.
We’re in November and we’re still in 70 degree weather. I mean, I like it.. but I kind of wishing I was wearing layers already.
Every single year I have invested in some dark black coat that I can just blend with everything. Uh, oh… not this year. I vow to take back color. These coats are pretty gorgeous, and they’re not every remotely close to winter colors which I love. Yellow and pink, summer colors where my mind will wander.
Later Boobies ! ♥
