As the unofficial photographer of the family, I’m always ready to get behind the camera to capture the moments that matter. If I can do this for everyone else, why should my own family have to deal with crappy cell phone pictures ( I secretly hate those).
My brother Luis and girlfriend Jen are expecting, and only being 5 months in, I wanted to be able to remember the middle stages of the pregnancy. That way when she’s really showing, we can have round two and compare.
During our Father’s Day barbecue (you can read that post HERE) I told the couple to take a quick walk with me. They really weren’t expecting this happen today, so It’s not like there was any time to prepare. This session lasted about 12 minutes and because we didn’t want to be away for too long and leave the food on the grill waiting for us, we hurried back. For such a quick walk, I think we did pretty damn well!
Looking forward to session number 2, with a bigger belly,

I think that calls for a celebration (pours wine glass)
As you all know, I spend a lot of my time painting hot women on hot women. What better way to bless the number thousand with some new artwork. For this session I was blessed with good friend Crystal‘s body as a canvas. She’s the sweetest in the face with the spiciest attitude. What a perfect blend. As usual I had the talented David Zayas Jr. shoot while Rachell worked her magic on her face.
I decided to paint a horned woman with a blue bob on the side of her thigh, just enough to travel up her torso. When I threw the Nike’s on her, I knew it was meant to be.
Let me know what you guys think, and let’s have a toast, and let’s hope there’s 1,000 more posts to go!

Straight from work, I felt no need to stay at home lounging around doing nothing. I called up one of my closest friends around my way (well, my only friend around my way.. I have yet to make friends in Brooklyn.. booo hooo.) Any who… since her babyshower is around the corner, I thought it was perfect to have a last minute photoshoot of our own. Note, that I do not own photoshop (which I’m dying to learn) so I pretty much make due with what I have. We set up using a lamp to add some brightness to her face and I just started to snap away. I hope you guys like, I know she loved them! Ps. Check out these behind the scenes pics of when we were fooling around with makeup with her gorgeous niece!

I am no longer a clubbing person, like I used to be, I feel like I’ve outgrown that stage in my life. Don’t get me wrong, when I’m invited to go out for someones birthday, I’ll make an appearance, have a few drinks and even dance my night away, but for me to be the one to insist on a night out like that,
ha, I don’t think so.
It’s so over done and not even remotely close to being something I would plan.
Sara, came with a bag full fruits and started making some sangria for all of us to enjoy.
Munching on pizza, we so fat 🙂
Chevy was working a miracle with my brother’s hookah, which I have to return, since I grabbed it by mistake, thinking it was mine, because my old one was also green.
Since there was a piece missing, we ended up youtubing how to make it work with an apple.
Since I wanted a new one anyway, I decided to go run off to the store and ended up buying a pretty pink one, while Chevy fell in love with an ice cream that she swore was discontinued and we ended up buying like three.
I gave Sara this little present that ended up reminding me of her, one day while shopping.
It was a book about anti porn, but not precisely that, it was more of that fact that it explained how feminists react to it and how negative it may make women be perceived.
Chevy, as adorable as she is brung, Cranium, which we ended up playing and laughing at our stupidity.
We also made friendship bracelets while talking about boys.
This was the bracelet I made for Chevy.
Her favorite colors, blue and green.
Oli was struggling to make mine, but I loved it.. and as soon as she finished I wore it as an anklet instead.
Mine is purple and white ♥
Sara made Oli’s and Chevy made Sara’s.
I told he, that canvas was officially on sale, and 2 minutes later I was wrapping up the canvas in silver foil for her to take home safely.
I love when my pieces go to good homes, and I know she’ll be appreciated in Sara’s place.
Thank you boo, love you! Pretty colored lemon tinted by the wine.Contortionist in the making. Caught taking a selfie! Oli came with cupcakes, yum! After all the games, we took turns doing each others makeup and had a little fun….
Util next time guys!
