After my brother Luis and his girl’s gender reveal, they were pretty much convinced that they didn’t want a babyshower at all. In my opinion I can see exactly why. All the money spent throwing a fancy party for everyone else, you could easily just buy everything yourself (and it would still probably be cheaper). Plus, whoever wants to get you a present, is going to get you something anyway, babyshower or not. Wendy, Jen’s sister wanted a little celebration anyway, especially since this Jen’s first child.
I have to say, I really loved seeing how much Wendy loves her sister. She was so personable and made every little thing about Jen and Luis. It was beautiful.
She planned an all women (not counting the daddy to be) brunch and everyone was required to wear pink… yes, it’s a girl!
The unlimited mimosas and sangria woke us all up. My tres golpes was delicious. Sofrito was on point and
my momma was looking gorgeous today, I think I snapped more pictures of her than the couple! hahaha.
It was a really good day. I wanted to dance a bit, but the music was kind of low. Didn’t stop me from dancing a song with Luis.
I hope you guys have enjoyed the pics, and this time I’m adding a video as well. That’s right!
I want to start teaching myself a bit more video editing, so let’s hope that goes well.
See you guys next time!

My brother Luis and my new sister in law Jen are expecting. Which is pretty exciting, especially since this will be baby number 5 for my siblings. Everyone kept asking each other what they wanted the baby to be. I personally had no preference, as long as the baby is healthy. I now have 2 nieces and 2 nephews, so this baby would have been a tie breaker anyway…. we just want to see you here!
The couple wanted to something pretty small and intimate for the gender reveal, and since everyone is a fan of burgers and beers, a BBQ it was. (We love those)
The cake was adorable with a “twinkle twinkle little star theme”… I personally was a big fan of the yuca with red onions and carne that was being served. Gotta love latin food.
When it was time to reveal the gender, I absolutely loved my brother’s reaction… especially since he was team girl. Now we all can’t wait until baby Jenna is here so we can smother her with kisses.
Check out his priceless reaction in the video below!

This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing such a special moment for Alexis and Jamal. After many moons together, and being recently married it was time for the newest chapter in their lives. It’s time to celebrate a new life, Aurora Simone.
Their family was so inviting and full of smiles, making my job so much easier.
I’ll be sharing more pictures soon, I hope you enjoy the ones from the event itself.
In the mean time, go check out my photography instagram, @millistephaniaphotography

This December I’ll be meeting the love of my life, and I couldn’t me any more excited. For now, this November, we’ll be celebrating her arrival. My god daughter Harlie Alexa is going to be surrounded by so many loved ones who can’t wait to meet her. What a lucky little girl.
Welcome to her Baby Shower. The theme “Winter Wonderland fit for a Princess“
Everything looked absolutely adorable, and pink!
I think we all pretty much know how Dominican baby showers play out, a bunch of families, loud music, dancing, great food and a couple of drinks. this time we’ll be merging two families together, all who are going to adore this little girl to the fullest. So, I hope you all enjoy the pictures for now. December is rolling by quickly, and I can’t wait for these two to become parents already. Congratulations, Taimane & Christian!Thank you to Inoaphoto for all of the photography

Omg guys! Remember when I said my brother and his girlfriend are expecting? Not only am I blessed to have been asked to be the God Mother, we recently just found out the gender of our new bundle of joy..it’s a girl! I’m so excited, we’re all so excited! Now I can officially start shopping and go into debt.
A have baby fever, and I can’t wait until she’s finally here. The parent are busy picking out names and planning the baby shower. My mother has started to knitting and it’s the cutest thing.
Like I said, shopping has been on the brain, I’m not a fan of pink for a girl. It’s so gender based. It’s not that I hate it, it’s just everywhere for baby girls. Us, girls, women have many options, pink, purple, green, blue all of it. These little rompers, and dresses are perfect examples that other colors can still just as frilly and girly. Ooooh, I can’t wait for her to get here!

It’s official, I get to be a titi!
That’s auntie for all you non-spanish speaking folks.
My brother Christian is going to be a dad, and he couldn’t more excited about it… we’re all so excited about it. Mami is running around so happy that she gets to be an abuela now. Eventhough we have known for a little while now, we have all been waiting for that 3 month curse to fade away so we can finally let the world know. Facebook friends and family are all going crazy, and I’ve even noticed a cousin bringing me into the mix. ” I guess you beat Milli to it” Damn…. not yet.
We won’t know the gender until August, it seems so close, yet so far away. All I know is, we’re all just praying for a healthy new life to join us. We can’t wait until we start spoiling that baby, I’ll be the first one snapping pics back and forth.
Check out the announcement photographs I shot for the new-to-be parents.
Not only do I get to have a baby niece or nephew, but I’ve gained a new sister as well.
Welcome to the family Taimane.

This weekend was all about babies. My nephew Tristan and niece Khloe were visiting abuelos house, a place where my brother Lu insisted that they could do whatever they want, break a window and everything will be okay. That’s when my mother yells from the other room ” Yeah, right!”
The weather was nice, it was bright and sunny, and you know me, ready to snap away. Tris and I were rocking our matching curls, and my dad was grilling away. I’m always in the mood for burgers, and when I was caught frying an egg to add to mine, my father looked at me like I was weird, little did he know how delicious it was, and mami agreed. My next burger (because why would I only have one?) included avocado and adding a little bit of ranch sauce, Kiki was a fan. Damn, I wish I had one of those right now.
Today was all about Khloe, Koko was being passed around from one pair of arms to the next. I was especially happy when Kiki’s girlfriend Taimane made an appearance. We all tend to get together on weekends, but she usually tends to hide under a rock, something I wish she wouldn’t do. We’re all here together, let’s get together.
Tonight was great, we played parchessi, like we do almost every time, and I lost, terribly. Once we played dominoes though.. everyone got an ass whipping.
