Tribeca Film Festival: Mary Poppins & Musical Stylings of Cristina Gatti

I was sooooooo cold. I can’t even exaggerate my shivering. I wore some cute little ballet flats, and ended up suffering.  I met up with David and friends, and Rosa ended up being my cuddle buddy, especially since she brought  a quilt big enough for 2.

After the movie, we headed to a nice little spot that looked straight from the 30’s. Cristina Gatti, one of David’s  friends was performing post modern juke box style. She reminds me of Amy Winehouse  with her raspy voice and I couldn’t love it anymore! Check out the pics and vids from this night. I also included one of her other videos of her singing Beyonce’s Drunk in Love, which I personally think is waaay better. Check it out.

Hot Date with the Broski

IMG_4347 IMG_4344 IMG_4348UntitledOn this rainy day I got to spend it chowing it down with one of my loves, My little big Brother Chris. I may be the oldest of the bunch, but I’ve grown to the be the shortest and the biggest mess of them all. lol

My brother and I met at 5 Napkin burgers, since I loved it the first time around. We finally got to catch up on everything that has been going on with us. After dinner we decided it was way to early and  headed to go see Captain America 2.

Girl Meets World

Everyone is talking, I hear all the buzzing. But why did it take you sooo long!?Most of us loved Boy Meets World when we were kids, Now the girls get to join inon the fun…I secretly wish the girls were a little older, but who cares! This is gonna be great, and I can’t wait to be rushing to the tv/computer to catch up on it.

I wonder if Uncle Eric would be making some appearences? How about Shawn?

Is Mr. Fenney still alive? (alive and kicking at 87)

Out of My Mind

Things may seem better off, but we all know we all carry our hurt tucked inside, deep into the abyss of the loneliness and the darkness.

The future was held in my hands, now when my eyelids press together my heart sinks alongside with it, This is your day, you deserve to have a life full of happiness.

I want you to have it, I wish nothing but the best in your encounters, and though the hurt is till painful,

the escape of the reality haunts me, scared for what is to come around any or every corner.

The vengeance, I wish would fade, especially since we both know we did the the best we could.

Smile a little, know that I hold you in my heart, know that I wish to remember the good, for you are good, just blurred with evil thoughts.
