City College Graduate

There’s a unique energy that comes with photographing a recent college graduate. It’s a mixture of excitement, pride, and a bit of uncertainty about the future. When Niscary contacted me for her graduation portraits, I knew this session would be special. She wanted to capture this significant milestone in her life with photos that reflected her journey and accomplishments.

There’s no better place to commemorate the event than choosing the university campus as our location. It was the perfect backdrop, rich with history and memories.

Niscary had planned an outfit change from her cap and gown which honored her roots, the motherland, the Dominican Republic. As a proud Latina, this accomplishment was one for the books, making her family proud.

One of the most rewarding aspects of photographing graduates is capturing their raw, genuine emotions. Niscary’s joy and pride were apparent. Photographing Niscary’s portraits was a privilege. it’s an honor to capture such a significant moment in someone’s life. Through my lens, I aim to reflect not just her achievements, but her spirit holds so much meaning to her. These portraits portray the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. Every graduate has a unique story, and being able to tell that story through photography is what I aim to accomplish, time and time again.

Sometimes you don’t need a reason

I honestly meet the best people. Working as a family photographer has given me the opportunity to meet people who value family and ever-lasting memories. Without a doubt, Yvonne definitely falls into that category.
I was recommended to Yvonne about 4 years ago, and every time we meet, it feels like I’ve met up with a tia that has raised me, whom I haven’t seen in forever, Squeals and hugs!

This year, she has thrown a get-together for her family. When I asked what was the occasion, there was none. In her words, the family should always be celebrated— and she’s not wrong about that.
And on that note, turn up the music, because it’s time to dance!

If you or a loved one are looking to document an event coming up, I would love to be the one to help you tell that story.

Family: Spread Love, It’s the Brooklyn Way

Meeting Virgina + Allan was so heartwarming. They’ve known each other since 4 years old, and started to date at the age of 23. Now at this stage of their love, the love has blossomed with their newest addition, Brooklyn.

Virginia wanted to capture Brooklyn in her first days, to have that memory forever. I was so proud and humbled to be the one to do that for her. These are the moments that remind me how much I truly love my job. What a blessing.

Brooklyn, with her tiny little fingers, and cute button nose, was absolutely precious.
I didn’t have to do much to show off how cute she was. She was a doll!

COUPLES: JAYSON + MIRTHA

Want to know one of the perks of following me on Instagram, you get information first!

At the beginning of the holiday, I announced a giveaway session. Anyone who decided to participate was automatically entered into the raffle, as long as they followed the simple prompts, like following my photography Instagram account. Which you should definitely do here.

Three winners will be chosen, two winners will receive a free session and the last third person would get 50% off of their session. I mean that’s a great deal!

After a week, winners were chosen at random. Jayson won second please, and he wanted to redeem a session as a couple portrait session. We started our process and had all the details ready to go.

He and his girlfriend have been dating for five years and when I asked him what did he want to remember when he wanted to look back at the memories we created together, his answer was simple—–he just wants to remember how young they were—- how adorable! How could I not be excited to be part of such a loving journey?

We met at our agreed-upon location and I’m not going to lie, it was extremely cold this day!
Especially since we were so close to the water. Mirtha was such a trooper and I feel bad every time she trembled. I even offered my scarf and gave her a huge chunky blanket in between shots. Good thing this session was only for half an hour, and that’s all we needed to create some magic.
Despite our hurdle, my beautiful couple was on a mission and they look good doing it!

So my advice is to follow me on Instagram because you just never know when you can win a session of your own.
