In between all of the drawings and photography sessions in my life, I try my best to always make time for family. The kiddies are growing a little too quickly. My niece Harlie is one and already ~~walking~~, running everywhere. and my nephew Amaury is turning 1 soon, and is still working on trying to get his first tooth.
I try my best to take advantage when everyone is a bit dressed up, and set my camera close to me. There’s something personal about catching loved ones candidly. I’m a big fan of having your personality shine through. And since babies grow so quickly, I try to catch all of their innocent moments before it’s too late.
Today we got the big news that we’ll be having another little rugrat to spoil, and I’m so eager to have another little to capture and give all my hugs to.

I’m a little late to the party. Seems like I’ve been doing that a lot lately. But a few weeks back, I took out my dusty camera and snapped some photos of my adorable baby niece Harlie. She’s growing up so quickly, can you believe she’s walking already?
Alright, I’ll stop my proud aunt rant here.
I grabbed a few rose petals, and this was the outcome!

Christmas 2017

This Christmas was all about the kiddies. Last year my niece Harlie was only 2 weeks old, My sister Julissa had a belly, and not to mention it was a pretty sad holiday due to two family losses. Though are hearts are still heavy we couldn’t sulk in sorrow. Christmas has an unwritten rule, pajamas all day!
Now that our family is expanding and the kids are a little bigger it’s time to start new traditions. As an adult the holidays tend to be pretty lame, so now that I had live humans to spoil, I’m going to go broke doing it.
Harlie is still learning how to walk, and my nephew Amaury is in his teething stages, and time seems to go by fast and slow all at the same time. My dad made a surprise appearance as Santa Clause to surprise his grand kids. They seemed more confused than anything, hahaha.
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, surrounded by loved ones.

I love when I get to use my camera for feel good moments. My cousin Sasha is expecting her second child, and I was in charge of the photos. She didn’t want anything fancy, and wanted to a cozy night in at home, so that’s just what we did. I also had the opportunity of shooting her first, so now that it’s time for number two, big brother Jonahs was ready to get in on all the fun. He did such great job!
