Vacations. We all need them, and want them even more. Chris’s mom, Millie has spoiled us rotten. She planned a whole family trip to Atlantic City. I’ve been brushing up on my card gaming skills, you know, just in case.
I have never been, and was pretty excited.
The car ride was pretty uncomfortable, but we all managed through, when we finally got to spread our legs, the sight of the hotel made us forget about the pain. The lobby was full of machines, everything was so bright and light up. I only thought to myself.. If this is how cool A.C. looks, imagine Las Vegas?
We headed to the rooms to get comfy, and headed right back out to roam the Atlantic City boardwalk, which was pretty chilly surprisingly. When we got back, the boy, Chris and Matthew, taught us girls how to play poker. I’ve always wanted to learn, and even though Chris has tried to teach me before.. for some reason, I was finally understanding it now. Maybe it had to do with all the beer in my system.
The next day, we roamed the boardwalk some more, played in the sand and soaked up some sun rays with more beers. Beers are always the answer.
Dinner with the family was great. We all had burgers, keeping it simple and oh, so satisfying.
I’ll admit, that bubble bath was everything, especially since I had a special someone and some wine to join me. The hotel pool party was way too good, and i was feeling the buzz in no time. I was pretty much in my own world the whole time.
Chris started making conversation with some girl in a white dress and after a couple minutes I decided to go be nosy (you know…just in case) and when I looked at her, I immediately recognized her. I’ve met Laurie about once and have had her on my social media for some time now. We spent the rest of the night chatting up a storm, and drinking with her and her beau.
The morning and check out time came a little too quickly. Chris was knocked out, while I packed our things. Ashley and Matt were already done and I’m running around trying to make sure we didn’t forget anything.
This tiny getaway was much needed. i had a great time. Thank you so much Millie, for allowing to be a party of your family’s escapades.

Here’s a new ink sketch that just came to me while at work, during my lunchbreak. I like how her cheekbones came out, and her buck teeth peek out…. but my favorite is the bangs.
awwww, I remember when mine used to look like that!
I miss when my hair used to be cute.
This sketch was sent to a random subscriber who signed up for Minx’s Mail.

I left work and headed to meet up with Misha. She was excited to go to a photography show in Williamsburg and I was there to accompany her.
I have to admit, I was cranky and grouchy and must have been a pain. It was hot outside, I was hungry, I was tired from work and not to mention Misha failed to do her homework before we left the house and find out the address or directions and my phone was on 16%. I was not a happy camper.
After we got the address from the awesome Philartiste we headed on our way and got there right when it started.. It was pretty empty. I know Misha was happy to see the show, so I put on a smile and tried not to be bitchy. I know it wasn’t her fault I was cranky and I didn’t want to take it out on her.
The show was pretty good, good and quiet. I’m not much of a photography head, so this was Misha’s element and I let her do her thing, mingle, pick up tips, network, etc.
I caught up with Phil hearing his amazing stories from Paris. He had just came back and was makiing me so jealous with the details. The graffitti was spectacular, the views amazing and the trip too short. He seemed so happy and that made me happy.
Maybe one day I’ll get to travel like I’ve always wanted to do and see these astonishing views of myself.
Since I had work early in the morning, we headed back to our ways and called it a night. I wish I would have gotten a few more pictures to show you the dope works of the artists, but like I mentioned before 16% quickly turned to 2%. And we all know what happens after 2%.

Tag from Graffaholiks.com invited me to be one of the artists that would be body painting live at Jouvay Lounge.
Joining me was Tag himself, Vezo and Ozbe. Including some random pieces done by Ash, Fore, Saper and Ano.

Misha and I headed to Queens, running late. All the guys were already there and set up on stage doing their thing. Once I arrived, there was deco markers everywhere!
I of course don’t use deco markers unless it’s for tiny details. So I came equipped with my bag full of paint, brushes and my cute little cupcake tray that I use to mix my paint in. You’d be surprised how handy that comes in.
The music was loud and though I was super focused on painting and seeing who’s next, I could never resist and always end up shaking my tush to the music.
The crowd was great and everyone that I got to paint was so nice, I tend to be friendly always striking up random conversations so I pretty much ha everyone laughing.
Plus Mel kept offering me beer so that always helps.
Everyone that was painting had a line of women waiting for them, which is always a good thing.
I actually had a couple of guys wanting to get painting on.
Since I never really paint men, I was a bit skeptical but of course wanted to do it anyway.
Here’s a few more random pics from the rest of the night.

Thanks to my brother J, my team, DC had a blast getting together and catching up. J usually plans this annual barbecue ( last years bbq post here ) for all of us to attend and actually spend time together, since everyone lately is usually caught up into their own world now-a-days.
( hopefully that changes )
I arrived with a bottle of vodka and a gallon of cranberry juice and greeted everyone with their kiss on the cheek, it didn’t take long for me to start hunting for food.
Of course I was super excited when I saw the guys from Mook Life grilling and I started calling shotgun on the burgers!
I spent most of the whole time throwing a football around, girls against guys and I must say, between me, Tuti, Set and Kash us girls definitely had a decent arm. I’m sure these guys were very impressed.
It was also nice seeing the DC guys from Canada, yes we’re everywhere!
Shout out to them.
The sun was blazing and I was so glad I wore a flowy dress instead of some regular jeans and a tee. My only mistake was playing ball in some thong sandals. I started to play barefoot in the grass, but once the game was over I put them on and they just snapped!
All I could think was ” How am I getting home? I’m sure as hell not hopping!”
Ens, the genius that he is hands me a knife and tells me to slice the bottom of my shoe open, thread the leather through and hand tie a knot at the bottom so I can at least get home.
What a prince.
I was happy when I noticed the bestfriend Ari ( Misha ) arrive, especially since she’s been so busy working on a super secret project that you guys are not supposed to know about yet, but will soon and hopefully enjoy. I was even more in shock when she popped up in a dress!
And even more, in stripes!
haha I loved it!
The lovely Kash ( Teekayelle ) also made an appearance and I’m always more than happy when I have friends from two different circles collide. Not that this was the first time of them meeting. We have much work and good times ahead of us.
And on that note, until the next adventure…. later guys.

I rocked these shoes once for a gig I had. I picked them out because they were simple enough to blend with my outfit. But after that night, I was sick of them.
I’m so used to having things that stand out, or basically, just a little weird. So to make that change that I grabbed a brush and paint and got to work.
Of course knowing me, I had to add stripes to the mix, and what better way to blend in black and white with some spikes! I’m in love.
I can’t wait to rock these.
