The Magic of Now: Capturing Life’s Sweetest Moments with The Conways

Have you ever stopped in the middle of a chaotic day, taken a deep breath, and felt the vibrant pulse of life around you? Itโ€™s a rare moment, isnโ€™t it? Weโ€™re all so busy chasing after the next task on our never-ending to-do lists that we forget the beauty of simply being present. Isnโ€™t it funny how life often feels like a whirlwind, with us as mere passengers in a train speeding through moments we should cherish? What if you could pause that train, even just for a little while, to gaze out the window at the breathtaking scenery of your everyday life?
Thatโ€™s the beauty wrapped up in โ€œThe Magic of Nowโ€ sessions. Itโ€™s about diving headfirst into the beautiful chaos of your life, the heartwarming snippets that truly define your family. Imagine me as a fly on the wall, stealthily documenting those unfiltered moments you hardly recognize as remarkable.

How It Works

Every journey begins with planning; itโ€™s like setting the stage for your own personal masterpiece. Together, we craft a mood board that serves as a visual compass for our time together. Think of it as a roadmap that guides us to your unique story. Wouldnโ€™t it be exciting to see your lifestyle captured not just in photographs, but through a lens that reflects your essence? A visual diary of sorts, where every image pulses with the energy of your family.

Gabbyโ€™s session was all about capturing her and her two adorable babies. We kicked things off by raiding her closetโ€”yes, you read that right! As Gabby started picking out clothes for her little ones, I gently stopped her and said, โ€œHold up. We dress Mom first.โ€

Why? Because as moms, weโ€™re always putting our kids first. Every decision, every chore, every priority revolves around them. But this session? This is about you. Itโ€™s about putting yourself first, even if just for a moment. Once Gabbyโ€™s outfit was sorted, we coordinated pieces for her little ones to match her effortless vibe.

A Day to Remember

The session itself felt like hanging out with an old friend. Gabby even made a stunning charcuterie board (and let me tell you, Iโ€™m a sucker for a good charcuterie board!). Between the snacks and laughter, I captured moments that felt completely authenticโ€”cuddling with her chubby-cheeked baby, dancing in the kitchen, and all the tiny, magical in-between moments.

As moms, weโ€™re often the ones behind the camera, snapping pictures of everyone else. โ€œThe Magic of Nowโ€ is your time to shine, to be seen, and to have those precious memories preserved forever. โ€œThe Magic of Nowโ€ isnโ€™t just a mantra; itโ€™s an opportunity to shine. Those authentic photographs are treasures, a narrative of your motherhood and your familyโ€™s laughter.

Life can be fleeting, and those little moments of joy often slip through our fingers like grains of sand. Yet, when they are immortalized in photographs, they become eternal. So, the next time you find yourself caught up in the whirlwind, ask yourself: When was the last time you lived fully in the moment? Take a chance to embrace the chaosโ€”because within that chaos lies the real magic of your life, just waiting to be captured. Life is waiting, vibrant and full of promise; together, letโ€™s seize it, frame by frame.

Making Magic In The Bronx- Rinaldi & Ruth’s Elopement

When youโ€™re in the Bronx, you learn to roll with whatever the city throws your wayโ€”and thatโ€™s exactly what we did during Rinaldi and Ruthโ€™s City Hall elopement. These two lovebirds kept it cool and stylish, proving that love is the real showstopper, no matter how grungy and busy the streets of New York are.

Ruth brought her A-game with her Karol G-inspired vibe, showing off her killer nails and fashion sense that made her look like she just stepped out of a music video. Rinaldi matched her energy with ease, and together they radiated joy that could outshine any backdrop.

This elopement had a special twist for me, too. I photographed Rinaldiโ€™s sister two years ago for her sweet sixteen portraits. Seeing her now as a proud “titi” to her brotherโ€™s adorable newborn was such a full-circle moment. Itโ€™s wild how much life can change in just a couple of years, and being part of this familyโ€™s journey was the cherry on top.

Sure, we had the usual city obstaclesโ€”no photography allowed inside City Hall and scaffolding galore outside. But guess what? That didnโ€™t matter. Because when youโ€™re documenting something as raw and real as two people saying “I do,” the emotion takes center stage. The laughter, the happy tears, the way Ruth and Rinaldi looked at each otherโ€”it was pure magic, Bronx-style.

So, scaffolding? Whatever. Government restrictions? Bring it on. With moments this real, I got this, no matter what.

How To Display Your Photos: Wall Art, Albums and More

In an age where everything lives on screens and in the cloud, thereโ€™s something deeply satisfying about holding a physical photo or seeing your favorite memories displayed prominently in your home. Itโ€™s a tangible reminder of love, connection, and the moments that shape our lives. While having your images at your fingertips is convenient, itโ€™s not the same as the sentiment of walking past a cherished photo every dayโ€”a sentiment that only grows with time.

Think about it: Our grandparents filled their walls with family portraits and snapshots of loved ones. It was their way of honoring those they held dear and celebrating the beauty of everyday life. Why not take a page from their book and fill your home with meaningful photos? These are the moments worth celebrating, worth showcasing, and worth passing down. After all, your cloud storage canโ€™t evoke the same warmth or leave a legacy quite like a beautifully crafted photo display can.

Here are a few ideas for displaying your photos to make them part of your daily life:

1. Wall Art: Create a Gallery of Love

Transform your home into a gallery of memories. From sleek metal prints to classic framed photographs, wall art is a bold and personal way to showcase your familyโ€™s story. Create a collage of candid moments in your living room or feature a statement piece of your favorite family portrait in the hallway. The possibilities are endless, and each glance at the wall will remind you of the joy and love youโ€™ve captured.

2. Albums: Hold Your Memories in Your Hands

Thereโ€™s something undeniably special about flipping through a photo album. Itโ€™s a tactile experience thatโ€™s impossible to replicate on a screen. Albums arenโ€™t just for weddings or big milestonesโ€”theyโ€™re perfect for documenting everyday moments, too. Whether itโ€™s your babyโ€™s first year, a family vacation, or just a collection of quiet moments at home, a custom album is a timeless way to preserve your memories.

In a world dominated by screens, thereโ€™s something uniquely fulfilling about holding a physical photo or adorning your home with cherished memories. Discover creative ways to display your photos and celebrate lifeโ€™s moments with wall art, albums, and moreโ€”because your memories deserve to shine beyond the cloud.

3. Prints: Keep Them Close

Sometimes, simplicity is best. Small prints can be tucked into frames, pinned to a bulletin board, or even placed on your desk. Keep a rotating selection of favorite images to bring a little joy to your daily routine. They make perfect gifts for loved ones, too!

4. Photo Boxes: Curate Your Collection

For those who love a mix of organization and sentimentality, a photo box is an ideal choice. Itโ€™s a modern way to store and display prints, allowing you to rotate which ones you display. Plus, the box itself becomes a keepsake that you can revisit anytime.

5. Canvases: Timeless and Striking

Canvas prints add a touch of elegance to any space. Their texture and depth make your images feel like works of art. Choose a few standout images and let them shine on their own or as part of a cohesive gallery.

6. Digital Displays: A Modern Twist

While weโ€™re celebrating tangible photos, digital photo frames can also have their place in showcasing a wider collection of memories. These are great for sharing a rotation of images without taking up too much space.

Celebrate Your Present and Future

Filling your home with photos isnโ€™t just about looking backโ€”itโ€™s about honoring your present and celebrating the people and moments that matter most. These images become your familyโ€™s story, a story that will be retold through generations. The simple act of displaying a photo has the power to ground you in gratitude and remind you of lifeโ€™s most meaningful connections.

Donโ€™t let your memories live solely in the digital world. Bring them to life. Hang them, hold them, and honor them. These are the treasures your future generations will cherish. So, go ahead, bombard your walls like your grandmother didโ€”itโ€™s a tradition worth carrying on.
