Behind the Scenes: Oracles

I finally picked up a paintbrush this week. I have showcase coming up where I’ll be presenting a few pieces. I took a stroll through Michael’s, and every time I walk in, I feel like a little kid in a toy store. I fell in love with a few bottles of metallic paint. I ended up purchasing 3 bottles, a nice teal, a gold and a bronze… I think that was my favorite.
I had no idea what I was going to paint, but I was going to make it happen. I threw on some trap music, and then some electronic and just let the brushes do their work. I’ll show you guys the end result soon!

Event: Write Off Cancer

I’m going to start this entry with a big thank you. Thank you to everyone who came out last night, and showed support for such a great cause.
Write Off Cancer, is a group exhibition that was curated on the behalf of legendary graffiti queen, Diva. This benefit featured original works for sale, from a collective group of artists. All the proceeds fro this exhibition will be going to help Queen Diva with medical expenses and her battle with cancer.

Kaystar, the beautiful soul that she is asked me if I wanted to be a part of this installation. It was bit last minute for me with the move and all, but there was no way I was going to say no. I happily donated 4 older pieces I had hanging out in my bedroom. Two of the pieces were displayed,while the other two will be auctioned off, at an online auction. That link is coming soon, so please stayed posted.

The love and support was so real. It was such a great turnout.

New Artwork: Pop

Dating is like  bubble gum, at first it tastes better than anything you could have ever imagined, and then it starts losing it’s flavor.

The newest piece to the bunch. Fun fact, I had a pink leather jacket just like that when I was about 14 years old. Kinda wish I could find that now… I showed my mother this illustration, and she smiled like “hey! you  had a jacket just like that!”
