I’m soooo excited! I need to move!
It’s part 2 of Hector’s Birthday Celebration. We walked into a night club by the name of Wao.
A bottle of Jack Daniel’s was ordered, and to mix it up, some 7up.
The music was amazing, everything I was hoping it would be. It was bachata, merengue, tipico, salsa all night. I was in loooove. I haven’t been dancing in so long, it’s so sad. Bachata to me, is my all time favorite. I bust out my moves and hope someone, anyone can keep up with me. I’m usually leading and it’s always a surprise when I actually have to follow.
I had the chance of meeting more of Yenny’s coworkers and they are all so fun, and funny. There was like 6 women and 3 men, so when it came to dancing we ended up having to wait a few turns. I was just grateful that the men danced. Whenever I want to dance I have to beg someone to get up…. so not my favorite thing to do.
My camera was being passed around the whole night, something I never mind. I always find the funniest randomest pictures of my night.
Since of course, we were celebrating Hector’s birthday, Yenny and I snuck in a request to the DJ to give Hector a shout out…. Once he did, we were the loudest bunch cheering him on.

After all our dancing, and not the best straight walking we headed to what drunken people do best…. eat.
There was this bright yellow chimi truck that we all stopped by. Typing this now, I actually want one now! That chimichurri was delicious. Can you tell how bad Yenny wants hers?

It was a great night, I want to do it all over again. Hopefully it won’t be forever and a day until I get to dance again.

I had already met Claudia and her husband Hector, so I was already in comfort when meeting Ricardo and JuanDa ( I think his name is hilarious bc they call him that for short, when his name is Juan Daniel) Everyone is super awesome and hilarious.

Today was fun. I spent the day roaming arounsd stores with my cousin Yenny, and once nightime rolled around. It got better. Lately I’ve been watching Glee, and I now got her and her son Victor addicted. We were hanging out in bed watching tv when we heard all the rain come out of nowhere and I insisted we go outside to run around in it. My baby cousin Ashley joined in, and was the only one to get her hair wet.
After our shower… hahaha we got ready to go to family’s house. We were headed to my Uncle Netty’s house, where my cousin Enetico was gonna be cooking for everyone, while they all watched the Licey game.

My family are BIG drinkers. So most of the time theyre offering me drinks and I’m refusing left and right. They’re more beer and liquor. Sometimes I don’t mind it. Hey, I used to drink aaaaaaalot when I was about 19 through my 20 somethings. (which I still am in my 2o somethings) But I’ve learned to moderate, especially because of a black out session I once had.

Enetico made us Dumplings with Salchichon. It was sooo good, and soooo hot, look at all that steam!
My Tia (Aunt) Olga cleaned out and filled up the pool that’s in the front yard. I was soooo excited, because I’m like the biggest kid there is, especially when it comes to actually playing with kids. All of my cousins kids where ready in the bathing suit, I decided to just throw on a tank top and shorts.
My guy cousins took the television outside to watch the Licey game, of course there were drinks. I stayed sober with some hot chocolate and picked on some cheese.
