For Lisa and her family, The Cottage in Milford, CT, isn’t just a beach house, it’s 100 years of memories, stories, celebrations, and summer toes in the sand. That’s where we met for this special photo session: to honor her Pa’s 75th birthday, to gather generations together, and to freeze a few real moments in time.

From the tiniest new addition with the brightest little blue eyes to siblings reconnecting after life took them in different directions, this session wasn’t about picture-perfect poses, it was about presence. Being there. Showing up. Choosing to celebrate, even if it feels a little complicated.

They came ready to reminisce and embrace the chaos with quirky souvenirs that read “Judgy Judy” (which honestly deserves a spot in the family hall of fame). And while not every moment was smooth, that’s real life, isn’t it?
