Family: The One Year Olds Trick or Treat

I loooove Halloween, I always have. And now that the kiddies are here, and old enough to walk a bit, it’s time to start changing some traditions. Harlie was dressed like a little witch, while Amaury was cute puppy. I broke out last year’s costume and it was still a big hit. The whole night was walked around I kept hearing ” Baby shark, doo doo, doo doo” All I want to know is “am I the only upset that there’s no Auntie Shark?”
And if you don’t know what I’m talking about, you can see & hear the famous and super catchy theme song HERE. There are so many variations of it! (It’s also like the only thing that keeps this kids sane when they throw their temper tantrums!)
It was a nice night for all of us, and I was extremely impressed with a haunted house that was decorated not only on the outside, but the homeowners allowed strangers to walk inside and see all the madness. There was even a special room full of crazy clown, and they even had a movie being projected in the backyard. How sweet!
Until Next time,

Nanny Diaries

zjThis summer I’ve been spending a lot of time with my godson Zj. Babysitting is always a different experience when it comes to him and now that there’s a new puppy by the name of Ripley, more stories to tell. She’s this hyper little thing who loves to poop everywhere, and when she’s not being annoying, she can be pretty cute. I finally caught one of those cute moments and we decided to play.

After running around with Zj and play fighting most of the time, I decided to sketch for a bit. It was one of those 2 minutes sketches I had no idea where was headed, but decided to pick up a sharpie anyway. Here’s a few pics from our day

Movie Targetted and Munch

16040bae76a752b0996dfdfc8bab12f29 2I spent my lazy Sunday waking up early to meet up with Misha.

She received the greatest news and opportunity as the wonderful photographer that she is, to capture images of amazing villagers and do some life changing work.  She’ll be working with a non- profit organization called The Batey Rehab Project which aids in impoverished Batey communities.

Aaaaaand guess what?! It’s in the Dominican Republic! Since she leaves on Friday, it’s time to start packing.
We headed to Target, Marshall’s, Costco and Burlington’s to get some much needed supplies. Everything from travel sized toiletries, sunblock and shorts. And knowing everything is on sale since we’re in winter now, made everything so much sweeter. Everyone knows I love a good sale. 3 After all that walking around, I was exhausted! When we finally got to her mother’s place (not even her place) we were convinced that we were going to sit for a few minutes and then head over to her apartment to start packing, and so I can pick up an extra set of keys (so I can walk her babies, ehrrr I mean dogs)
Ha! To that plan.
I said Ha!
We ended up getting so cozy on the couch even her red nose pit Munchkin jumped in for some cuddling while we watched Christmas movies. (Yes, I know, already!) 4I’m so proud of my Mish and I hope everything goes oh so smooth, and she kills it over there.

I can’t wait to see what new adventures she has.

I’m gonna miss you so much, see you in December!

♥ you,

Friday the Thirteenth

After work, I trooped it to the Bronx and headed to Tuff City.

I couldn’t pass up on getting my share of the special, $13 tattoos in honor of this superstitious day.

I was all in, and there was nobody better than to go to Ozbe himself.2

Of course there was a flash sheet to choose from and I of course had to customize mine.

I picked one thing from two tats and asked to blend them together.

Lucky for me, they had no problems with it.

I ended up with this tiny little bad boy and I loved it.

That green popped, love neon!

I got a second tiny tat near my inner arm, which I’ll show you guys a pic of later on.3On the walk back, my Mr.Minx and I walked in to Party City and drooled over all the special fx makeup and props.

We didn’t see any costumes we went crazy for, which is really making us think about what we want to be for Halloween.

It’s gotta be something goooood.

I love Halloween and I can’t wait for it to get here already.4

We ended up buying some colorful mustaches and had a fun walk home.

Everyone kept staring at us and laughing.

We even had a couple of kids come up to us, one little girl asked they were real, I responded by saying, yes, I grew it over night!5Ivan looked great in a blue ‘stache that I ended up giving him.

And after getting some pizza Q and I were ready to go home and start our drinking game 🙂6

Check out Q’s baby, Georgie, he’s such a monster!7Our drinking game had us cracking up and yelling at the T.V. screen.

We placed mustaches on the screen and whenever the ‘stache landed right under someone’s nose,

we drank!8

Take a sip boo!9

Never Made Its: Video Edition

You Guys are aware of my random ” Never Made It’s ” post… Those pictures that just have never it into their post of their own.

For this “Never Made It’s” I decided to switch things up. Instead of posting pictures that have never made it to the site, I decided to do videos instead!

Now I know it seems liek a lot, but I promise you, none of them are more than a minute long..  so just sit back and enjoy!

And if you’re a friend of mine, see if you made the cut and are in any of these!

Ambushed by Frank

The bestfriend’s dog, Frank decided to pounce on me and show me some love.
