When youโre in the Bronx, you learn to roll with whatever the city throws your wayโand thatโs exactly what we did during Rinaldi and Ruthโs City Hall elopement. These two lovebirds kept it cool and stylish, proving that love is the real showstopper, no matter how grungy and busy the streets of New York are.

Ruth brought her A-game with her Karol G-inspired vibe, showing off her killer nails and fashion sense that made her look like she just stepped out of a music video. Rinaldi matched her energy with ease, and together they radiated joy that could outshine any backdrop.

This elopement had a special twist for me, too. I photographed Rinaldiโs sister two years ago for her sweet sixteen portraits. Seeing her now as a proud “titi” to her brotherโs adorable newborn was such a full-circle moment. Itโs wild how much life can change in just a couple of years, and being part of this familyโs journey was the cherry on top.

Sure, we had the usual city obstaclesโno photography allowed inside City Hall and scaffolding galore outside. But guess what? That didnโt matter. Because when youโre documenting something as raw and real as two people saying “I do,” the emotion takes center stage. The laughter, the happy tears, the way Ruth and Rinaldi looked at each otherโit was pure magic, Bronx-style.

So, scaffolding? Whatever. Government restrictions? Bring it on. With moments this real, I got this, no matter what.
