I was in the mood to try something different, and boy did that work out in my favor. When Buzzfeed’s Curly, posted up this image on his instagram, I just knew I had to draw it– and right on time for Pride!
Not only is he extremely charismatic, but a looker too! I wanted this drawing to express how vibrant his personality is. I added a lot of pink and blue tones to the lighting, and even debated if i should, but I just had to go with my gut. I absolutely love this piece and can’t wait to keep trying some new things!
Best,

Someone’s graduating in 4 days and I couldn’t be prouder!
He’s too cool to get excited and keeps shrugging it off, but that’s alright because I’m ecstatic for him.
My baby brother is semi- adulting right now, and I’m so blessed to have such a responsible and charasmatic young adult around me. Not many get to walk across that stage, let alone get a full scholarship to their top choice college. You’re going places baby, make us proud!

Photography: Ivana Noble

Another successful session, this time with the lovely Ivana Noble.
She did absolutely great, and this shoot hit a new record for me, as it being the quickest and most effortless partnership to date. We met up, Ivana didn’t need much direction, and 30 minutes later turned to “it was so nice working with you” and “goodbye’.
Talk about getting the job done right.
Here’s to hoping I have more productive opportunities like this,

Illustration: Taza, Twins & a Clementine

Bloggers, there are everywhere. When you’re one yourself, you tend to gravitate to other bloggers, and they somehow become like your virtual little family—in a non creepy way of course.
One of the many personalities that I tend to follow on instagram is Taza from lovetaza.com. She’s about to burst out twins, and when I saw this most adorable picture of her eating fruit, I picked up my apple pencil and got to work.
This is only the second time I’ve drawn a pregnant woman, (see the first HERE) and I gotta say, I don’t hate it. Maybe I should start a series. (We’ll see, because I may just be brainstorming out loud here)
I love the colors I used, purple just always seems to sneak into my work somehow, how do you always do that purple?
I hope you guys like this illustration, and if you’re curious enough, she recently gave birth to two healthy girls, you can read that post HERE.
Best,
