It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
I’m the biggest type of kid there is when it comes to certain things. Happy go lucky environments are one of those things. Macy’s Herald Square is presenting it’s annual Santa Land, I knew I had to be there. I went to grab lunch with a friend first and catch up on life like we usually do. I ordered the pernil, and while hearing stories I just vacuumed my whole plate up. I speak after I see a clean plate.
I wanted to walk off the new weight I just gained, and begged to go see Santa, even though someone else wasn’t feeling it. But like usual, I tend to get my way. The interactive holiday windows were absolutely stunning. A story about a boy who traveled through all the planets in his discovery for the holidays, each window being a different planet.
When I walked inside the store, there were garlands and chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. It was nice an elegant and I couldn’t wait to see what the 8th floor had in store for me… you know, the kid section that’s covered in toys from top to bottom. Waiting on line for Santa was a little longer than expected, but the wait didn’t bother me one bit. I had adorable little girls in front of me, and some super hyper ones behind me. Can’t always win can you. The line swerved many ways, but you were never bored, your eyes were constantly being feasted with decorations, everything from trains, reindeer, stuffed animals, snowmen and much more. It was like a magical fairy land.
You still have a chance to go see Santa yourself. He’s there everyday from 9am-9pm on the 8th floor of the Macy’s on Herald Square. Bring your kiddies, and if you have a youthful spirit like I do, feel free to bring yourself for a nice treat. Pernil sold separately. lol

I just finished cooking dinner. It was a long day, and I ask Katt: “Do you think Vodka goes with sprite?”
She just looks at me and asks “why?”
I chuckle, “what other possible reason, so I can drink it!”
She tells me she has girly drinks in the fridge, that we have yet to touch. Pulls out three bottles and asks me which one I want. Mind you, I’ve had all three, all delicious, but at an instant my first response is ” which one has the highest alcohol content?”
Katt just looks at me and laughs.
Nicki Minaj’s “Myx” has the highest alcohol level by 5.5%, but with it’s size, which was super tiny at 6 ounces… I ended up going with “Angry Orchard” .5% less, but 6 ounces bigger.
Who am I to complain, I know it’s not hard liquor or let alone my sweet beloved wine, but I would settle for anything.
Does that mean I have a problem?
On another note.. one of our phones just vibrated, and we both got excited and jumped it for it (girly stuff). We both ended up screaming “Dammit!” at the same time.
Don’t you hate when you’re not getting messages from the one person you want to hit you up?

Katt already had it set in stone, that she was ready to turn up medium. Not get turned up, but medium. Enough drinks to get her dancing on top of the bar, but not to the point where she was belligerently drunk. It was her birthday celebration after all.
Maybe I should have been using the same caution as she was.
Let’s start at the beginning.
After arriving to the bar with great company, it was time to get drinks. Headed to the bar to get the first round of shots, cheers for Katt. That shot was gone too quickly, time for a drink. Jameson and ginger ale please. Then a huge bar fight broke out. Something I have only seen on movies and have never witnessed in person. Ok, except for one time because I just now remembered. Moving on….
2 guys are bickering back back and forth, another is trying to break up the fight, we have a loud girlfriend screaming “no, no, no” in her squeaky drunk voice. The guys lay hands on each other, the bouncers step in, and decide to take out the wrong guy, the one trying to stop the fight. They original drama kings start fist fighting and more bouncers step in, now the bouncers and the bar hoppers are fighting. One of them decided to throw the other to the ground where the guy hits his head with the door frame from the exit. It all happened so fast, not to mention it’s only been like 5 minutes since we have arrived.
My partner in crime for the night found a bigger booth for all of us to sit at. Z’s brother Jayson, cousin Stevie were already there waiting on us. Katt’s best friend Kika was on her way and it was time to party.
Well, I was ready to party. Everyone was pretty comfortable sitting down and talking. But I knew if I sat down, I was never gonna get up, and I was in the mood for dancing. But then again, I am always am. I swear it’s my escape. When you’re dancing you don’t think of anything else but the music and the way your hips move.
The fellas already had some slushies which where apparently to die for! I didn’t get to taste, but I was told they were so delicious and were mixed with all types of alcohol. They also got a little crazy with pitchers of beer. After getting some Jager bombs, all of us cracking up and making some jokes. Especially since there was some guy dancing his soul out… he had some moves on him, and it felt like everyone was circling around him. Worst part on his take, this guy started to dance, everyone made a circle around him, where he then thought it was okay to start a dance battle. he decided to a front flip to have a killer ending….oh man, what was that for… this guy ended up kicking some random poor guy in the face!
I swear I saw that happen in my head in slow motion!
It was time for the birthday girl to dance, and that she did!
I know I busted my ass in the process…like I was dancing and my ass met the floor. But what can you do, I just got up, laughed and kept on dancing!
Kika and Katt were killing it on the dance floor, hey from what I remember.
It’s been a long time since I have blacked out, but at least I had someone good taking care of me. Apparently I was mean to Katt when she was ready to go home, which I don’t remember at all. I felt soooo bad. She says I didn’t want to leave and came out rude.
Damn, I suck so bad.
No worries, of course I ended up apologizing and we just laughed about it later, catching up on what did happen and recapping all the crazy moments of the night. I’m glad I got to bond with Kika more, since we are both friends with Katt, and know of each other but never really hang out together. So that was definitely nice. I woke up with a bit of a hangover, nothing that I can’t handle… but I think I might have to start being more careful with how I act when I drink. I ‘m always a happy drunk, never a mean one. So time to reflect on some issues!

I decided to take advantage and grab a few shots of Katt‘s outfit before heading out tonight. She was looking amazing, so why not share it with the world. She was rocking this aztec looking print romper with some frill at the bottom, with her bright pink accessories and lips.
Go check her out at her blog, since I feel like I mention her all the time on my blog!

It was time for the birthday girl to get some breakfast. We headed to Ihop where Katt got her strawberry pancakes while Z decided to sketch up a little birthday cake in her name. Both Z and I separately asked the staff to sing to our table, but after waiting, finishing our food and watching Zj devour his chocolate funny face pancake, they never came. Which was pretty upsetting. I decided to get chicken, bacon and cheese crepes which was soooo good, wish I had some right now. Katt’s birthday will be divided into different posts since there was so much craziness.
So stay tuned!

Because life without you, wouldn’t be as amazing!
We’ve been through so many hair colors, stories of boys, advice on blind leading the blind, drinks to the very top, shopping dates,
and we’ve become so close I consider you like my sister.
I want to wish you all the best in life, always.
You deserve it all boo, fancy trips, exotic dinners, and the hottest man with a beard and tattoos.
You are such a beautiful soul inside and out.
May you enjoy your day to the fullest.
love you Katt!

Finally! I’ve had these tickets since March! Katt and I was so excited for The Color Run. A marathon where, well colors are thrown at you! I told myself I was going to force myself to have more of an active lifestyle, that doesn’t mean it has to be boring! Katt broke night, while I was cherishing my zzzzzzzz’s. I made a white tutu for the special occasion, because what’s better than a blank canvas? (coming from this artist herself). We were rushing, because like almost all the time, we run on hispanic time, which means.. we were late!
When we got on the train we made some new friends who were adorned from top to bottom with “The Color Run” attire, we ended up making new friends in no time. Jess and Jennifer were dolls, and while we looked for the school bus that was going to take us the location. ( I haven’t been on a school bus in like 15 years!) we laughed about how excited we were.
I for one, had my hair in braids, something that I know I appreciated.. because the last thing I need is my hair flapping around everywhere while I “run”. Note how run is in parenthesis. Since we (all four of us) were technically the last ones to arrive, and Katt and I had yet to “Check In” we rushed to the starting line, which I swear, there was like three of, so it made things a little confusing. Especially when we were so hyper and started to run for nothing!
We made a deal that if anyone asked we ran the whole time, hahaha.. but let’s face it, I can’t lie to you guys. Most of the time were walking, jogging and there was a lot of skipping involved. I felt like a little fairy.
There was one little girl who was so adorable and complimented me on my tutu. I ended up just giving it to her and her face was absolutely priceless. ♥
I have to say the mosh pit, where the stage was my absolutely favorite. Maybe I don’t have Bonnaroo out of my system after all. I was hopping around and getting so excited everytime I heard a song that I liked… which was most! the dj was great. Best of all, there were more colors being thrown everywhere!
Jessica & Jennifer looking adorable
Check out this video of our day!Until next time my loves!
