You guys know exactly what I’m good for… and painting on boobs has always been one of my best qualities. ha! How many people can say that?
I got to finally meet and add some pigment on the cutesy Cynthia, she started off a bit shy but was ready and willing for whatever. Just like I like it, and I guess that’s what the camera loves too, because she ended up looking amazing. Of course David Zayas Jr. was behind the lens, and Rachell worked her makeup skills for a nice, sweet smokey touch. When I saw how full Cyn’s boobs were, I knew I had to go big when it came to the hair, go big or go right guys!? Using about 5 different shades of pink, I worked on her curls, and Cyn’s final product turned out just how I wanted, right in your face! Check out some more from her set.

I swear, I have to beg my godson Zj to go outside and have some fun. All he wants to do is stay locked inside playing video games. Not cool. At least not in my book. When I was a kid, all I wanted was to be outside, all day, everyday. I would be outside playing football with my brothers and the neighborhood dorks (boys), or I would just sit at my stoop drawing. Anything as long as I wasn’t stuck inside. Maybe because every time I was indoors, and happened to bump into my mother, if she saw I was bored, all of a sudden I had a new chore to do.. to you know “keep me occupied, since I’m not doing anything.”
Getting Zj to come outside was a struggle as usual, his feet stomping on the concrete while we made our way to the park. It is officially 88 degrees today, but if you ask me that sun was beaming straight at us. After Mr. Attitude calmed down, 2 blocks in, he finally got excited and started being a good boy, telling me stories about superheroes and some shows I had no idea what they were. The shows that is.. I love me some Marvel and DC characters.
I knew the sprinklers would be on due to this torching heat, and the only thing that stopped me from not jumping in was the fact that I knew I had to protect my hair. Hey, don’t laugh! I have plans coming up. Being Dominican has it’s perks, but when it comes to hair it’s usually a hassle when humidity decides to be an asshole, and I end up looking like a beat up brillo pad.
I’ve been messing with Black and White photographs as of lately, and don’t ask me why. I think it’s just the fact that the moment in time looks so elegantly captured. Following Zj around is always
exhausting fun. Especially since he has so much energy when he’s happy. But I just love that little smile. No matter how slick he may be with his little snarky comebacks.
He’s recently lost his tooth and that little window peeking through his mouth is just too cute!
When we finally got home it was time for popsicles. Zj opted for cherry, while I of course went straight for the grape… later on realizing I was decked out in all purple, aooooow!

It’s about time a girl had a little fun! My Nikki baby and I were ready for a girl’s night out. We decided to meet up in Times Square at the red steps, worst possible move right there. We should have known better. Never again. It took us about 15 minutes to find each other. Once we finally got our hugs out of the way, we headed straight to Sky Room. It was beautiful. That view was exhilarating, and I had the perfect company to go with it. Nikki and I have known each other since High School and it;s been one of those relationships, where you automatically get along, yet don’t know much about the other person. It’s just always good times and better vibes. Tonight that all changed for the better, because we got to talking, and when I say talking, I mean… we were chatting up a storm! The environment was nice and chill, the music was playing right, we were sipping on some drinks, but it was time to dance. Something that I’ve been dying to do ever since I got back from Tennessee. Since we didn’t feel like waiting, mostly I didn’t feel like waiting. We decided to head out, hit up a liquor store for some diy drinks, and head to our local small lounge that is always ready to party.
I was dancing like there was no tomorrow. Oh man, when I tell you I needed that escape… I needed it. I was surprised that I knew every song and was singing as loud as I possibly could. I swear that DJ was working just for me tonight.
I actually had about 3 different guys come up to me, just striking up conversation, in a gentlemen way of course. I was nice, but I was not having it. I just wanted to dance, and dancing doesn’t mean, all up on you. I was in my element, and I was hair flipping everywhere!

Finally! I’ve had these tickets since March! Katt and I was so excited for The Color Run. A marathon where, well colors are thrown at you! I told myself I was going to force myself to have more of an active lifestyle, that doesn’t mean it has to be boring! Katt broke night, while I was cherishing my zzzzzzzz’s. I made a white tutu for the special occasion, because what’s better than a blank canvas? (coming from this artist herself). We were rushing, because like almost all the time, we run on hispanic time, which means.. we were late!
When we got on the train we made some new friends who were adorned from top to bottom with “The Color Run” attire, we ended up making new friends in no time. Jess and Jennifer were dolls, and while we looked for the school bus that was going to take us the location. ( I haven’t been on a school bus in like 15 years!) we laughed about how excited we were.
I for one, had my hair in braids, something that I know I appreciated.. because the last thing I need is my hair flapping around everywhere while I “run”. Note how run is in parenthesis. Since we (all four of us) were technically the last ones to arrive, and Katt and I had yet to “Check In” we rushed to the starting line, which I swear, there was like three of, so it made things a little confusing. Especially when we were so hyper and started to run for nothing!
We made a deal that if anyone asked we ran the whole time, hahaha.. but let’s face it, I can’t lie to you guys. Most of the time were walking, jogging and there was a lot of skipping involved. I felt like a little fairy.
There was one little girl who was so adorable and complimented me on my tutu. I ended up just giving it to her and her face was absolutely priceless. ♥
I have to say the mosh pit, where the stage was my absolutely favorite. Maybe I don’t have Bonnaroo out of my system after all. I was hopping around and getting so excited everytime I heard a song that I liked… which was most! the dj was great. Best of all, there were more colors being thrown everywhere!
Jessica & Jennifer looking adorable
Check out this video of our day!Until next time my loves!

Today was a no bra day. “F” that. Don’t get me wrong, I start off with one, but they never last. Kind of like my romance life. haha. I have to make it funny or else it’s just sad.
The fellas are outside starting up a beer pong rivalry. I’m afraid to mention I have never played before. They’ll get me started in no time. Beer to me, is good to a minimum. I love it, but I have a pot belly that does not need to be exaggerated.
Matthew and Ashley are kicking ass at this game. Obviously it’s not their first time, their double team is ridiculous.
I started to play, Oh, man, I suck! My aim is horrible. After getting laughed at …… a lot, I managed to make a couple of shots on my own. Surprising not only everyone else, but me as well. But, ah, all this beer!
Making friends with our camping neighbors was easy and amusing. After bonding over our beer bong table, kicking some ass. While some of us sat on the side lines playing the congas, it was time for some adult fun. We later on headed to the farm to finally go see some performances.
Everyone is so hyped up and positive. I absolutely love it. What a great energy to be around. High fives for everyone!
|I loved when I saw Insa, was the featured graffiti artist for this event. I have been a long time fan & I finally got to see my first piece in person|
First stop, Janelle Monae. What a beauty! Before anything else, I loved her set and her background singers attiire, especially because I’m such a huge a fan of black and white print. I was also happy seeing her because I was dedicated to seeing her perform in Brooklyn at Prospect Park about a week ago, and never really bothered to the show up. Back to the Roo..
Her song “Queen” featuring Erykah Badu is way too catchy. Getting to the front of the stage was a hassle. Not only because there was a lot of people, but because even if you got close enough, getting out was way worse.
Oh, and now I know, sandals may be comfy, but not when you’re dealing with mud. Squishy dirty toes are never cute. Good thing after a while of dancing and getting lost in the moment, you don’t really sweat small stuff like that.
Kanye West was a big disappointment as a performer. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some Kanye music, so whenever he did happen to sing, I was jamming along side with him. His arrogance killed it, and it seemed like he was just pushing his fans away. Not only was somewhat insulting his fan base, he started to play ” runaway from me baby, just runaway” right after it. I guess you already know what happened. Everyone started screaming ” Fuck Kanye!”
Ramon jumped in the fountain…. oh man, If you thought it was pretty it in the day time, it is gorgeous at night!
Ashley and I painted our faces for the night in gold paint… we were fierce!
Now check out my illustration for the day…and night!

Hanging out with girl friends is the best. Mheartstar, Chevy and I were eager for our girl date to come around.
I haven’t seen Chevy since my birthday where we danced the night away(see that post here) and I haven’t seen Mheartstar since like October…. Oh my geeeezus! Where does the time go?
I met up with Chevy first, as we headed to party city. We were on the hunt for anything funky and didn’t really find much, but funny little things to crack up with.
We decided on getting princess crowns.
Every girl deserves to feel like a princess.
After we met up with Mheartstar, we headed to BBQ’s, which honestly, I’ve only been to like once, and I was like 19 at the time, and mind you it was only to get drinks with friends…..
Yes, I used to drink at that age.. who did I think I was?!
I ordered a burger and pina colada to calm my stomach… we were feeling our drinks in no time, and truth be told, I think we were the loudest ones in the restaurant.
Hmmm… maybe that’s why everyone kept staring at us.
We were loud, talking about boys, talking about life, talking about work, and all the traveling we are gonna be doing soon.
No matter how long it takes for us to catch up with each other, a couple of drinks and shots later, it was like we weren’t gone for long.
I miss hanging out with my girls and we better do this more often… no excuses.
See you guys later.
I hope you guys enjoyed, until next time loves.

I haven’t seen Chris (I call him Mary..inside joke) in the longest time, probably once like 2 and a half years ago, and then like 5 years ago… damn. Time sure does get the best of us. Since he was gonna be in NYC he invited me down to his cousin’s BBQ which was starting at 3pm. (cough cough cough, according to him) So when I saw it hit like 6pm, I felt like a bad friend. See, I was so busy editing (for a shoot you’ll see soon) and time got the best of me. Luckily for me, he wasn’t even there yet. I made my way towards Queens, which I almost never go to. When I arrived, he told me he just got there… That bastard!
hahaha.. I was feeling less guilty in no time.
His cousin was the birthday boy, and while I was being introduced to new faces, I managed to recognize some old ones. Chris’s sister Vanessa (who I went to High School with) and Frankie (another cousin who I’ve met like 6 years ago)
Vanessa is such a sweetheart and catching up Frankie was definitely a good surprise.
Everyone was playing beer pong, which I have never played, and failed to mention, because I knew as soon as I said something, the ball would be in my court.. no thank you!
Maybe another time, when I learn all the rules, and can we make it “wine” cup instead!?
Since it was still early, everyone was headed to Beer Garden. I’ve never been, and it was actually bigger than I thought it was. The weather was nice, so out to back deck we went. I actually got to meet some pretty cool people and catch up with old friends. So there you go, great night!
