My boy Soel had his first solo art show and the crew couldn’t be prouder of him. Yes, it’s been a while since most of us have been in the same room together, but that doesn’t mean that we’re not there for each other when it really matters.
I met up with Chris and had a few beers and some mac n cheese with bacon at some tiny bar that looked like it was homed in the south. Their cornbread was pretty delicious as well.
We stopped by a deli and picked up more beers, this time I stuffed them in my purse, for you know :cough cough: “easy access”.We walked into Greenpoint Gallery and the walls were filled with Soel’s pieces. Graffiti inspired everything. Some inspired by the late Cheech Wizard. I fell in love with a water tower piece that I regret not paying for sooner.
While roaming the other floor (that had different artists) Chris and I missed our chance on two different pieces that we wanted to go home with.
When we got back to his floor, we ended up purchasing 2 items, that are now hung up and living beautifully at Chris’s.
Catching up with the fellas is always great, after the show we headed to a bar in Williamsburg to get some more drinks. The guys are hilarious, especially when it came to their freestlye rap battles.

You guys know exactly what I’m good for… and painting on boobs has always been one of my best qualities. ha! How many people can say that?
I got to finally meet and add some pigment on the cutesy Cynthia, she started off a bit shy but was ready and willing for whatever. Just like I like it, and I guess that’s what the camera loves too, because she ended up looking amazing. Of course David Zayas Jr. was behind the lens, and Rachell worked her makeup skills for a nice, sweet smokey touch. When I saw how full Cyn’s boobs were, I knew I had to go big when it came to the hair, go big or go right guys!? Using about 5 different shades of pink, I worked on her curls, and Cyn’s final product turned out just how I wanted, right in your face! Check out some more from her set.

See ya next time!

Catching up with MaryAnn is always a treat. This time we picked brunch for our gossip session. She decided on this cute tiny spot by the name of Wine Bar by 90th Street. As soon as I saw her, I ran across the street and was ready for one of our hugs. As soon as we sat down we already knew we were going to be chugging mimosas. We were sipping in no time. MaryAnn ordered some eggs Benedict, while I decided to go with a mozzarella and tomato panini. Oh, my…delicious!
After catching up on boys, all of their traits that drive us crazy, yet can’t get away from, we didn’t want our date to end. Since we were so close to the MOMA we ended up taking our date to the museum. Before we even arrived, we noticed a guy in the park making the most beautiful big bubbles, they were so colorful!
The Metropolitan Museum of Art was gorgeous in all it’s glory. I wish we had enough time to look through it all. We got through half of the first floor and kept oohing and aaahing at all the interesting pieces. Some of my favorites were the American History Homes. The luxury, ay dios mio. There was also an exhibit dedicated to the fashion of mourning. All black gowns, stunning pieces of clothing. I’ll admit my favorite had to be 2 sequined gowns that were worn by Queen Victoria. Mostly in purple hues since it seems to be the color for half mourning, whatever that may be.
I hope you guys enjoy the pics, I know we enjoyed our date 🙂

Let me express the fact that I have been itching to work with a dark skin model. I think dark women are absolutely stunning, I just have never had the chance to work any dark beauties. When I contacted Ornellah, I was super excited for her to come over. I had so many ideas, and no sketch in mind. Like I ever sketch anyway.
We took a few shots indoors, but our best bet and confidence booster was when we headed outdoors. The sun was beaming, and Ornellah was a little more confident than before.
I hope you guys like this shoot, I know I sure do.
Until next time guys,

Xmental is a coalition of community organizers, artists, and teachers committed to mentoring and educating urban youth.
We are an organization devoted to creating a safe space for our youth to practice creative self-expression and develop positive mindsets, self confidence, and self awareness.
I arrived with my photographer for the day, My Mr.Minx 🙂 and got to work right away.I loved how all the staff and the kids of the community center were all representing wearing purple for anti violence.
It made me think of my cousin Jasmine, but for some reason, I smiled instead of getting all down on the dumps.
She would be proud of all the work that’s being into put into the awareness of anti-violence.
Anti-violence from not only a domestic standpoint, but from bullying, gang related incidents etc. This was my colorful palette, I couldn’t resist taking the camera from Q and snapping a quick pic.
There was speakers, raising awareness, poets, photographers. kids displaying work, dancers….
like these cute girls from a local church.
I loved how graceful they will spin, plus no vulgar dancing!!!
Just like girls their age should be dancing, no twerking please!
This pretty lady here is also a talented poet, and though I failed to get her name( booooo me), I made sure I complimented her on her great hair.
I thought she was simply beautiful.
↑ Patty Eljaiek ‘s canvas. She’s so talented. Her watercolors are on tissue, like bounty tissue paper! Who even thinks of that?
She also used picture clippings, markers and others…talk about mixed media.
Plus her faces turn out amazing!
↑This baby right here will be made into a mural soon, I can’t wait to see the end result. Now, this ↑ wall right here, what a story.
I had the pleasure of falling in awe with these works by an 8 year old talented little girl.
8 years old, can you imagine?
The use of space is on point, she covers everything, and has a great eye for color.
If her age isn’t enough for you, she is also diagnosed with autism.
I’ve never had the chance of meeting a future artist, let alone in her early years.
She seemed really shy, but I couldn’t help but give her compliments.
Her mother explained, they barely can afford art materials, but no worries because Xmental inc. will make sure she has supplies to keep the art coming!
This gorgeous little beauty, and noooo I’m not talking about Q…haha ( you cute too boo) blew my mind away.
This 11 year old mc by the name of Tayahna is waaaaaaay too talented for her own good.
Not only did she have bars, writing her own songs, she captivated the audience like I never expected.
The crowd was clapping to her beat, singing along with her, and to top it all off, she burst into some killer dance moves and had everybody on their feet.
I wouldn’t be surprised if I see her on t.v. or hear her in the radio in years to come.
I was lucky to meet her and I wish her nothing but success in her future endeavors.
You can find her on Youtube here.
↑ Photographs that were displayed.
↓These awesome fellas displayed their colorful work and were all smiles =]
It was a great event and I was so happy to be part of something good.
Not but not least, here is my canvas, which I had no idea on what I wanted to do, but then again, when is that new?

It’s been a little while since I’ve posted up new body art for you guys.
This time I had the awesome Alejandra, Rabiii0sa, to you guys, join in on the fun.
She was so great to work with, painting her was a snap, and after picking on her for a few, a few beers loosen her up enough to relax in front of the camera.
Since her, Q and I are all friends it was too funny catching up.
This was also Q’s first time watching me paint someone completely nude.
Yes, he’s been with me to a few shows, but nothing beat having time and privacy.
Sometimes the rush of an audience makes you hurry.
So this was a first time for him, and he can’t complain, since he got to see some boobs that aren’t mine and not get in trouble for it!
I also worked with Madame Julievet for this shoot, since she’s been wanting to expand her makeup portfolio,
and what better way to experiment than to do crazy shoots with me!
I hope you guys enjoy this set, and don’t forget that artwork is always up for sale, so don’t feel shy.
Shoot me an email (firstname.lastname@example.org ) and let’s talk details.
or book me for a live performance
Read my F&Q for any additional questions, if you’re still timid, maybe your questions is already answered.
Until next time guys, Enjoy!
