Blue Shoes, I Want Blue Water

I feel like all I do is work lately. I’m currently on a Ramen noodle soup and Chef Boyardee diet. Talk about starving artist.

I have a trip coming up in February and I couldn’t be more excited, nervous, and willing all at the same time. Right now the flight to get over there has been purchased, but no flight back, so if I  have to paddle  my way back on a floating door, I’m more than ready to do so, regardless if I don’t know how to swim.

Luckily for me, I have an amazing manager who’s accommodating my schedule for my convenience, without having to technically take any sick or personal time off. I’m so blessed.

I have so much to get done, save up for, and did I mention shopping?

I need to buy a new bathing suit, some cute sandals and a lot of sunscreen.

I can’t wait to see the beautiful colors, explore new places and make some new memories.

In the meantime, I’m suffering  just counting down the days, 40 to be exact. I have the bad habit (or good) depending on how you look at things) to always write things down. (hence the blog) I currently have about 4 different lists running in my mind.

What to buy, what to do before the trip, what to pay off, what to pack, what to do once I get over there. You would think I’m someone who plans tediously, but in reality I’m so disorganized.

In the meantime, I’ll be here.. in the cold streets of New York City, traveling back and forth to work, trying not to go out and have any fun, eat any good food or do anything that will satisfy me, ha!

My nights have been full of exhaustion after long shifts, and Netflix to keep me company. Which reminds me, Friends is on Netflix, and as many times as I have seen the episodes on repeat on television, nothing beats watching them in order. It’s only been about 3 nights and I’m up to season 2. Shame on me.

I’ve been bickering back and forth with  my friend Randy, who’s been skipping ahead, and swore he was going to wait for me, so we could be on the same page… he’s all the way up to season 7 -_-

Que mentiroso (What a liar)

See you guys later, I’m typing while at work. Shift is almost done…I want a burrito and some Netflix.

kiss kiss
