Improv Everywhere is known for their crazy stunts and flash mobs. This time I was excited to be part of the Mp3 Experiment 11. I have been wanting to do this for awhile now, and now I can say I officially have. It was soooo much fun. I mean, anything that drags you to have a great time and be free spirited with strangers is always a beautiful thing. For those who don’t know what the Mp3 experiment is, I’ll break it down as simple as ever. Thousands of participants download a track, that you cannot hear until the start time. Everyone synced in at the same time. We all meet where we are supposed to, this time it being Fort Greene Park in Brooklyn. The track tells you what to do, silly acts all around. I came with a group of 4, including myself and my little brother Jeremy. That boy needs to do more fun things in life! We had plenty of fun things to do today, that’s for sure.
We had to make believe we were part of marching band and play an invisible instrument, I played the drums!
We had to make believe were super secret agents and hide from others.
We played freeze tag, while the voice told us what color was it. (Notice everyone had to dress in any color they wanted)
We skipped along the grass making believe we were just reunited with our own true love.
We played followed the leader while being formed in a rainbow line. (Jeremy was the leader)
There was a huge colored wave, so pretty!
The video should be coming soon, which I of course will post up. Even though we were encouraged to keep our cameras in our pocket so we can enjoy the full experience, I snapped a few pics above.
The ones below were taken by the photographer on duty, Arin Sang-urai’s photos (click on name to see more)
Can’t wait until I see the video, see you guys soon!
