car1.2I headed to FlyBoard LI. For those who don’t know what that it, the instructors basically strap down a pair of boots attached a board with a hose that is powered by a jet ski. Basically I was ready to be Iron Man over water. I was nervous, especially because I don’t even know how to swim.

I know, I know.. what the hell am I doing jumping in a lake with no swimming abilities. Luckily for me, I had a wet suit provided  to me by the instructor Jimmy, who was more than patient with me. He handed me a life jacket and we got ready to head to water.

Officially the first customer, according to Jimmy, which made the experience even better and special.

After jumping in the water, and trying my best to swim a little farther away  from the  dock, so I can have space to fly.

This was more difficult than I thought it would be.

I had to keep my legs, knees stiff straight, which I found hard to do, since I wanted to pretend I was surfing. hahaha..

which basically meant I was eating water most of the time, slamming my body and trying to find some air.

I did manage to do a backflip apparently, and some 360 move I managed to do, without even knowing… Enjoy these pics, I should be posting a video soon.
