I attended my first wedding ever, and to top it all off, it was a Jewish Orthodox wedding held at the Palace.

I was invited by coworkers to come and join in on the fun.

I had no idea what to wear!

I knew the rules, sleeves past the elbows, hem line below the knew, no cleavage showing and I most definitely could not let my tattoos peek out.

My shopping was a complete disappointment, everything is so revealing now a days!

I threw on a black dress and accessorized my butt  off. I got there at 5:30pm like the invitation said but apparently the “chupah”, ceremony for us, wasn’t starting until 6:30pm.

It took me a little while to get used to being the “different” one.

One cute little boy, almost about the age of 5 or maybe 6, came up to me. So close to my face, and just started. No blinking, just straight out stare.

It was a bit awkward at first, but I knew better than to be offended by it.

I’m sure he’s   just not used to stepping out of his own community, so I just smiled, and he skipped away.

While at the cocktail hour I couldn’t help but go crazy over all the beautiful dresses.

They were just so beautiful, and I loved how they weren’t “sexy”.

The food was delicious, there was everything from sushi to chicken covered in eggplant, ribs I was in food heaven.

The actually ceremony was a little lousy and I could barely see anything.

The  men and women were separated which caught me by surprise.

I love learning about different cultures/religion and this was a wonderful experience.

Enjoy the pics guys!
